About us
Welcome to Astra Divina’s website, a craft from the village of Hrib in Gorski kotar. I wish to introduce you to the diversity of plants and animals of Gorski kotar. My name is Marta Blažević. I’m a biologist. Let me take you to the magical world of wild animals, medicinal plants, and colorful butterflies surrounded by vast forests. I grew up in Opatija and decided to move to Gorski kotar with my family in 2016. Suddenly, I realized I would have to change jobs. The previous one was too far from Hrib. I always dreamed of owning my business. After all, creating something new was my goal. To live in harmony with nature, to transfer my knowledge and emotions to you, dear visitors.
Why Astra Divina?
It’s a referral to my daughter on the day she was born. Also, the name could be easily pronounced by both locals and foreigners.
I opened my social media page as Astra Divina. People thought Astra was my real name as I moved to this new place where nobody knew me. It was extremely fun and endearing to me. So Astra has become like my alter ego. It depicts the creative and witty part of my personality.
For those of you who have not had the opportunity to visit us, the eco-estate is located in Šafari. It is a hamlet not far from the village of Hrib, surrounded by the source of The Kupa River and The Risnjak National Park. This geographical detail best conveys what kind of world you are stepping into and what you can expect when you arrive in Šafari. In addition, we prepared a wide selection of educational workshops, dances, and recreation for you. Therefore, all generations will find something interesting and entertaining.

How to reach us?
Situated an hour away from Rijeka, and two hours from Zagreb. If you are in a hurry, you can travel by highway to Delnice and then head to Crni Lug. When you reach Gerovo, turn right towards Hrib. The road will narrow sharply, and nature will assume a fairytale appearance. Don’t worry, you’re on the right path. In a few minutes, you will arrive at our house. For those who travel from Rijeka and want to enjoy the picturesque environment, we recommend taking the old road across Mrzla Vodice.
